How to Get a Mental Health Assessment with New Directions

  • Register for a secure account online, call us at 1-800-671-8589, or register at one of our kiosk locations
  • Complete the initial mental health assessment questionnaire online
  • Complete a 45- to 55-minute interview with one of our professional evaluators via phone or online video call
  • Forward any requested documents (such as a police report) to your evaluator online or via postal mail
  • Receive your report via e-mail, typically within five business days (rush service available)

*Note:Please contact us before requesting your mental health evaluation if your case involves child custody proceedings or a competency evaluation for guardianship. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.
